We can’t wait to come back and see what Diaspora Traveler can create for our next family adventure - our countdown is on!!! ——- Melany set us up on a brilliant day with the Captain and crew of “Masterplan” as they took us on a cruise to Playa de La Isla Catalina in the sparkling sunshine and shimmery turquoise waters. Our family enjoyed every second of this special day - diving in the waves, swimming on the beach, using the SUP, playing with the aqua lilly pad, and taking in the incredible views of the island from this gorgeous boat. We felt very safe with the Captain and he and all of his crew were clearly skilled yachtsmen. They were also very attentive to our family - keeping an eye on the safety of our kids and providing us with a delicious bbq lunch including lobster tails, beef, chicken and sausage - we all loved lunch! I clumsily cut my leg while off the boat (totally my fault) and immediately the crew was there with a first aid kit to help me clean the cut. They were well stocked and ready to make sure I was ok. It was an incredible day for our family - I would eagerly book this experience again and would love to see what else Diaspora has in store for our next visit to the Dominican Republic. Thank you Melany and Luis for the amazing guides to our Los Saltos De Jima excursion. It was incredible! I highly recommend Diaspora Traveler to support local. Melany and Luis were friendly and so easy going, made for a really relaxing experience. The waterfall was goregous and our park guide even picked a cocoa fruit for us to try on the hike, LOVED that experience! Melany and Luis were intentional with their planning and took us to a tucked away gem for lunch where we enjoyed Sancocho including a fantastic avocado! Viajar a este Pais tan maravilloso fue una experiencia única y maravillosa, mejor aun con la ayuda, la experiencia y calidez de Diaspora Traveler, nos hicieron sentir cómodamente, seguros, como en casa, comimos rico, disfrutamos de playas hermosas y conocimos la ciudad, también bailamos. Melany, the owner and founder of this amazing company, took us to this BEAUTIFUL waterfall. She had a driver/assistant with, Luis, and they were both so kind and knowledgeable. I loved especially their passion for nature, Melany planned everything for us and lead the group while Luis showed us where to go in the waterfall safely. We went to an amazing natural park, where the officials there let us try raw cocoa. This waterfall was one of the highlights of our trip! Thank you Melany for the wonderful time, and thank you Luis for sharing your passion for the area with us! I hope we can visit again soon, if we do we will be contacting Melany again!
